Simplist

Terms of service

Last updated November 2, 2026

The service

Simplist lets you write posts and translations, store them in a project and read them through an API or an MCP server. Simplist does not host your website: you display the content on a site or app you already have.

By creating an account or using the API, you accept these terms.

Your account

You must give accurate information and keep your credentials, API keys and passkeys secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your keys. Tell us if you think an account or a key was compromised.

Your content

You keep all rights on the content you publish. You give Simplist the right to store it, process it and deliver it through the API to the people and sites you choose, only to run the service.

You are responsible for your content and for having the right to publish it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Simplist to publish unlawful, hateful or deceptive content, to distribute malware, to infringe the rights of others, or to attack or overload the service. Do not work around plan limits or rate limits, and do not use the tracker to collect data that you are not allowed to collect.

Plans and billing

Simplist has a Free plan and a paid plan, Simplist Plus. A plan applies to one project. The limits of each plan are shown on the pricing section of the home page and in the billing page of the app.

Plus is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, in advance, and renews until you cancel. You can cancel from the billing page. The plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law says otherwise.

When a project goes back to the Free plan, content above the Free limits stays stored but you cannot publish more until you are under the limits again.

API and fair use

The API is rate limited, and the limit depends on the plan. We may block traffic that harms the service or other users.

Availability

We work to keep Simplist running but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove a feature, and we will try to warn you before a change that breaks your integration.

Ending your account

You can stop using Simplist at any time and ask for your account and data to be deleted. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Because the project is open source, you can also run your own copy.

Liability

Simplist is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost revenue or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event. Keep your own backups of what matters.

Changes and law

We may update these terms. A significant change will be announced in the app or by email before it applies. Using Simplist after that means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by French law. Questions: me@gaetanhus.fr.
