Simplist

Your blog shouldn't need a deploy.

Simplist stores your posts and their translations. Your site reads them with one API call. Edit a sentence, add a language or schedule a post, and it is live without touching your code.

Introducing v2

A new way to write, translate and publish, without touching your site's code.

Changing one sentence shouldn't take six steps

Markdown files in a repo, a separate blog platform, a heavy headless CMS: each makes a simple blog harder than it should be. Simplist keeps your site as it is and moves the content out of the build.

    Posts in your repo

    6 steps
    1. 1Open the file in your editor
    2. 2Edit the sentence
    3. 3Commit and push
    4. 4Wait for the build
    5. 5Deploy
    6. 6Check the live page

    Posts in Simplist

    2 steps
    1. 1Edit the sentence in the editor
    2. Save: it is live

Your site reads the new text on its next request. No commit, no build, no deploy.

Translations belong to the post, not to a plugin

Add a language to a post and it comes back in the same response. Your site picks the one it needs. No locale setup, no duplicate entries to keep in sync.

Write each version by hand or let your agent do it.

Keep your design. Change only where the posts come from.

Works with Next.js, Astro, Remix or plain HTML: anything that can make a request.

Tell your agent to write it. You press publish.

Connect your AI agent once. It drafts and translates your posts, and they stay drafts until you publish them.

    Questions

    Is Simplist really free?

Yes. The Free plan has no time limit. Plus lifts the limits on posts, languages, API keys and analytics.

Do I need to redeploy my site to publish?

No. Your site fetches posts at request time or on its own cache schedule. Publishing in Simplist changes the API response, not your code.

    Does Simplist host my blog?

No. Simplist stores and serves your content through an API. You display it on any site or app you already have.

Can I use it with an AI agent?

Yes. Each project exposes an MCP server, so agents like Claude or Cursor can create, translate and update posts.

    Can I self-host it?

Simplist is open source. The web app and the API ship with Dockerfiles.

Is the plan per account or per project?

Per project. Upgrade the projects that need it and keep the others free.

    Stop redeploying to publish.
